Public land next to Redcliffe Parade East car park.
RWRA is seeking to improve the public area next to the car park our community and visitors.
We have bought and installed new benches in the area next to the carpark for community use.
They are well used and enjoyed.
We are looking to improve the landscaping here too. We have contacted the Council on several occassion and asked if they would be able to attend to tree overgrowth at this site. Unfortunately there has been no response yet.
We are researching landscaping options for the existing flowerbeds with a view to making the area welcoming and a good place to take in the panoramic views across the city.

The Ostritch
The Ostrich has planning permission for the kitchen and tepee tents outside.
Bathurst basin parking
The Harbour Master has changed the rules on vehicle parking, whereby cars can only be parked for 30 minutes on Port land, and then must move on. For owners of boats in the Bathurst Basin and at Cabot Cruising Club, they are no longer able to park vehicles on Port land.

This is a community vision promoted by Redcliffe Action Group and Neighbourhood Forum.
We note the plans, and the vision to remove the dominance of the highway in order to connect the north and south of Redcliffe better.
