Rollerbump Disco noise issues

We note noise disturbance from the site, and are asking our councillors for details of the decision made to grant permission for the site with no prior consultation of the residents affected.
Darkness Rising

Over the summer Darkness Rising was filmed on Redcliffe Wharf and at Reddliffe Parade East car park.
The production team offered a donation to RWRA due to the disruption and noise caused but has not, as yet, been honoured.
We are following this up.
S106 Environmental Improvement Monies
BCC currently holds £57,077.64 for Environmental improvements, and £22831.07 for revised parking measures on streets surrounding the Holland House Hotel.
The committee is to ask BCC what plans they have for this money and to make suggestion on what we think would make good improvements.
Paco Tapas
Paco Tapas is creating noise outdoors beyond their license agreement time. The license is until 22.00, but noise can go on until 23.00.
We have liaised with the Council, and spoken to the enforcement team regarding this.
Disruption is mostly felt by residents of Bathurst Basin.
Paco Tapas / Casa Mia odours are experienced by residents of The General. We are engaging with The General owners (City & Country) on how to manage the odour problem.
Ostrich
Odours from The Ostrich food outlet are noticeable by residents of The General.
We have contacted them, and they are promising to resolve.
Recliffe point
We are looking to further enhance the area for community use:
- We are requesting the installation of a big belly bin in the car park to reduce littering
- Create a new bed and install planters in October.

Quaker Burial Ground
Following our request the park has been cleared of tents and debris and is welcoming to visitors
A request has been put in to BCC to address broken gate to the hermits cave.
Redcliffe Hill
We continue to chase BCC regarding the Metrobus works at Redcliffe Hill and awaiting a response

The AGM was well attended at Redcliffe Point. We reviewed the year and listened to feedback particularly on noise issues and planning which we will address at committe meetings. Thank you to all who attended.

Redcliffe Wharf

Planning for Redcliffe Wharf development has been agreed.
They have respected new plans not to block the view from Redcliffe East car park.
There is an indication that work will take two years once Wessex Water has installed a new water main which would appear to be the hold up. See more
